Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seals, African penguins + Humpback Dolphins
Summary: The perfect day on board Slashfin today! The first trip departed from Gansbaai Harbour. As we made our way past Danger point, a bait ball was sighted with Cape fur seals and pelagic birds feeding. Just a few meters ahead, 3 rafts of African penguins were encountered, a great start to the trip! On anchor site, fantastic visibility meant the Bronze whaler sharks were fully visible for those in the cage and on the boat. For the second trip off the day we also could enjoy amazing wildlife sightings with great visibility! Not only did we see the Bronze whaler sharks but additionally African penguins, cape fur seals and Indian ocean Humpback dolphins on the way back to the harbor! Thank you to all who joined us for today’s shark cage diving trips!
