Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Cold

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Broadnose sevengill sharks + Cape fur seal

Summary:  Slashfin left Kleinbaai Harbour this morning with blue skies and slight swell. Upon arriving at anchor, guests prepared to get into the water, donned in their thick wetsuits, ready for the Atlantic water temperatures. After a short while, guests were rewarded with an active Broadnose sevengill! These sharks have a prehistoric faces and no dorsal, a unique species that typically enjoy deeper waters. Thank you to all guests who joined us today, it was a pleasure having you on board!
